“When I first came to see Chris six weeks back I didn’t know I was having traumatic attacks. Now I don’t know what traumatic attacks are. I still care about issues, I still care about people, but I see them differently. When things don’t run to plan A instead of feeling annoyed or rejected, I simply accept that people are different. They have their own wants and issues. Accepting people for what they are, not for what I want them to be, changes the way people respond to me. Behave negatively and what do you get. Behave positively, and it comes back to you. It’s brought fun, recognition from those important to me, and opportunities from those that don’t. After just six weeks I can point to real examples of positive behavioural differences, and I’m looking forward to continuing down this path of self exploration.

And trust me, you can’t get that from a textbook.”
